Edit: Closing this one out for now. Please put all new threads here! Thanks! Fifth verse same as the first... It's new 'Call Me Out" Time!
【the ❝CALL ME OUT❞ meme】 V a roleplay meme to inspire muses.
♛ refer to the list above for active muses. ♛ post "calling" one of them out — you can do so by putting their name journal in the subject line! (I have too many Lancers to just go by name! X.x ) ♛ can be informal/formal/comment spam/crosscanon/explicit/whatever tickles your fancy! ♛ feel free to make up a scenario at the start, or wait to see where things go.
[Waver didn't seem to think much of it; in a rare show of owning casual clothes, he was in jeans and a loose black shirt, regarding Diarmuid curiously from underneath a light layer of dust.]
I'm fine, why?
[Because your familiar is holding a stack of books and discarded alchemical equipment in four arms?]
[Diarmuid points to Waver and then to the many-handed maid.]
Because dusty is not your usual state of being nor is multi-handed hers. If you need to find something, why not ask me to help? I can search faster than you can...
So I ask again, are you feeling all right? Really?
I'm not looking for anything, really. [Waver dusted his hands off and crossed his arms.] I'm trying to clean out this nightmare, that's all. I feel perfectly fine.
[Diarmuid carefully steps around the maid and into the room to see if that might give him a clue to what his partner is up to. He frowns though, when he sees the sheer amount of things in the room.]
Is this safe? Nothing is going to fall on you is it? No long forgotten familiar is going to jump out and eat you?
Because I told you I would. [Shrugging, Waver glanced around at the piles of books and equipment.] I know you've been sleeping with m--in my room, but I still think it'd be nice if you had some space of your own. This is as much your home as it is mine now, after all.
[Waver had turned slightly red at the stumbling correction, but tried to ignore he'd said anything questionable whatsoever.]
Nothing like that's going to happen. Even if it did, I use mice for familiars, when has a mouse ever eaten anyone?
When has magic ever turned a magus and a servant into children?
[While Waver's correction makes Diarmuid grin, for once he lets it slip by without tease. Instead, he moves to his partner's side, gives him a light kiss on the forehead...
...and immediately starts coughing because of the dust in Waver's hair.
[Even with the window open it takes a few moments for Diarmuid to stop coughing. Once he does, he has to reach up to wipe the tears caused by the coughing fit from his eyes. Yep, that sure is a streak of dust across his cheek now.
Well, at least he's not coughing anymore.]
No one saw that less than brilliant action on my part. How fortunate.
Yay! Domestic nonsense! :-D
It looks like Diarmuid left him along for just a little too long.
He's not exactly sure what to say when he sees what is going on. What madness has possessed his partner? Is this what they call Spring Fever?]
Waver? Are...you feeling all right?

Maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all...]

[Goddammit, Diarmuid.]
...right, sorry about that. [Waver turned to open the windows, hoping that would help somewhat with the dust problem.]

I knew I could count on your powerful observation skills...
[He looks around the room again and sighs.]
You know, you really don't have to go to all this trouble just for me. What will I even put in my own room?

[A mischievous grin lights up his face.]
I'll put you in my room. See? Task accomplished. So what do we do with the rest of the afternoon?
no subject
[Waver raised an eyebrow at him, dusting off his clothes.]
What do you want to do?
no subject
Figure out why you have so much stuff? Do you even remember where all this stuff came from?

[Something strikes him then.]
So you are what they call a hoarder?
[It may or may not be followed by Waver's fist striking him...]

[Diarmuid taps at his chin, a confused look on his face.]
I thought that is how the one girl explained it anyway.

[Silly fan club girl not being clear.]
So if you aren't a hoarder, what are you?

I suppose I'll take what I don't need to my lecture on Monday and see if any students want them--otherwise I'll never get rid of all this.
no subject
[A childish light enters his eyes.]
Lets see who can find the weirdest thing!
[Because this won't go wrong...]
no subject
Fine, if you'd really like to.
