Why are you blushing? Did I say something wrong?

[Diarmuid laughs and lightly ruffles Waver's hair.]

I like spending time with you. Why wouldn't I want to do something like that for you?

[Was he sulking? Waver frowned, crossing his arms.]

No...I am pretty sure I play with your hair when you are in normal form as well. It's just there is much less of it for me to play with right now.

[Diarmuid suddenly grins widely at Waver.]

If I was really treating you like a child, I would be holding you in my lap and cuddling you.

[Waver immediately turned so red one might almost be forgiven for thinking his head would explode.]

[Diarmuid starts laughing, though he does somehow keep himself from ruffling Waver's hair again to see if the magus might not just explode.]

[Diarmuid doesn't really care what the point is. He is just amused that Waver crawled into his lap of his own accord.

He really shouldn't take advantage of this...

[He relaxed easily into Diarmuid's arms, Waver's own moving around his Servant's neck.]

I wouldn't worry. Knowing Eskardos and his tendency for the occasional mishap, it'll most likely wear off sooner rather than later.

Why? Are you not enjoying the one chance you'll have to do something like this?

[Diarmuid leans back so that he can drop a kiss on Waver's nose.]

That is why I want to know just how long I have to be enjoying it for.

[Waver started to turn faintly red, and he responded by hiding his face against Diarmuid's shoulder.]

[Diarmuid reaches up and strokes Waver's hair.]

[He fidgeted slightly and swallowed hard, taking a deep breath before reaching up just enough to press a light kiss directly to Diarmuid's lips.]
