[Diarmuid raises her hands and looks at them for a moment before shaking her head.]

Non-existent. I could never be called as a Caster like you could. It's funny. I grew up surrounded by magic, but I can't use it naturally. The closest I come is the magical abilities of my weapons and that hardly counts.

Well, then, I guess I'll take care of the summoning. Otherwise, you'd tire out.

I just...miss him sometimes.

...I miss all my friends too. Too bad we can't summon all of them in one big go.

[She shuts her eyes for a moment.]

Why should I get him back when so many others can't get back those they miss?

[She falls silent and ponders the question for a second.]

Maybe...but do you think he would want to come back?

[She pauses and then laughs.]

Oh, listen to me. You'd think I didn't want to actually see him again... I really need to work on this 'it's okay to be selfish' thing.

[She raises a hand to fluff Diarmuid's hair.]

That's okay. One step at a time.

[Diarmuid laughs and tries to duck away from the hair fluffing. She then gives Cu Chulainn a more serious look.]

Would it be Ferdiad who you'd call back or is there someone else you would pick?

Ferdiad would be my first choice. I don't know how many others of my family would have been heroes. Though, it would be awesome if I could get Emer.

She might not seem like a typical hero, but I would say putting up with you should qualify her for the Throne...

They made up classes for a few people, didn't they? Why don't you make up one that you think would fit Emer best?

I'd suggest Lover, but I fit that one better, don't I? Healer? Since she was always gentle with me?

[Diarmuid thinks for a moment and then nods.]

I think Healer would work very well for her from what I know from your legends. What kind of special powers would she have from her class?

Of course it can! I expect she could teach me a thing or two about cooking.

[She stops to think a moment before continuing.]

Healing wounds is an obvious one. I am sure Emer had to patch you up hundreds of time.

I'm sure it was more than that. Sometimes I could swear the whole country was out to get me.

[Diarmuid laughs and rolls her eyes.]

I can't imagine why that might have been...
