[Diarmuid shrugs. As the movie starts she moves over to the couch to sit by her sister.]

He finds it and... Well, you will see.

I think that's suppose to be part of the comic appeal. Though now that I'm watching it again, I'm not so sure it's as funny as I thought it was the first time. It's just kind of sad since I know what's going to happen. We'll see if that changes as things go on. It's really just starting...

You know, they obviously like each other. Why not just elope?

[For animals drinking blood, it seemed natural. But when a plant craved blood, it was freaky.]

[She shakes her head and then gestures at the screen.]

You know what else is bad news? Idiots who think it's a good idea to feed their blood eating plants bodies! Don't do it you idiot!

I guess we should add being short on common sense and intelligence to that list.

And he's singing to the plant. Why's he singing to the plant?

I think...he's in love with it? Wait! What are you doing, you moron, don't stick your head into the man-eating plant!

[Diarmuid sighs and shakes her head.]

Well then...I guess that is one less person they have to worry about turning them into the police for killing the dentist.

I think I might be starting to remember why I never watched this one again after the first time...

Dentist sort of deserved it, though. Asshole.

Wait, the plant eats people. Why does this guy want the cuttings?

I'm not going to argue with that. The shop owner guy deserved it too, to be honest.

[Again, Diarmuid shakes her head. It seems like she's done that a lot during this movie.]

They don't know that the planet eats people. And it's going to end up multiplying and killing others because that idiot didn't kill it. Who tries to kill anything from the inside?

...I've actually heard of it working a few times. Usually if a sea monster or something swallows you whole.

Yeah, but this thing doesn't swallow a person whole. It seems to like...chewing.

[Diarmuid makes a face at the screen.]

[She jumps back at the sight of the plant's mouth.]

You've got me! Seriously...the only thing that plant needs is to be attacked by a flamethrower!

[Diarmuid laughs, resting her chin in her hand.]

I don't think there is a single real man in this movie. Well...except maybe the plant. It's got more balls than all of them combined.

[Diarmuid gives her sister a look.]

It's sad. I think the plant might be the most talented and maybe most likable 'person' in this whole thing. Maybe that is part of what makes it funny?

[She chuckles.]

I don't agree with how it eats people and wants to take over the world, but you're right in that it's the smartest thing in this film.

Yes, that is what makes it frustrating...but you can understand when it ends up winning in the end. It didn't have a whole lot of challenge.
