[Cu Chulainn laughs, letting her pull him along.]

That your way of sayin' I pass? Long as you're sure and ya ain't gonna change your mind, I ain't gonna complain. I sure don't mind surprises. They keep things interestin'!

[He chuckles.]

Does that mean we're tryin' for baby number one tonight?

Few men would ever suggest I go against my parents. You'll keep things interesting.

[There's a limo waiting outside with a driver holding the door open.]

...If you're willing to be patient and slow. Remember. You are my first time.

[His eyes twinkle when he sees the limo, though after admiring it for a moment, Cu Chulainn turns a surprisingly serious look at her.]

Look, I may be a lotta things, but when I take care of a person, I take care of 'em. Ain't no fun if the person you're with ain't enjoyin' it just as much as you are. It'll be good. I promise. An' once I know you a little better, I'll see 'bout makin' it a lot more than just good.

[Which was a child. She moved past him and got into the limo, making sure he got in too.]

Make it decent, at the least. Good isn't even on my radar yet.

[She looks at him and pushes him down in the seat as they begin to drive off.]

If it's fun, then fine. I'll go along with it. But it's not a main priority.

[As she pushes him down, Cu Chulainn reaches over and pulls her into his lap.]

Want me to start those lessons now? Ain't like we got anythin' else goin' on at the moment!

[She grumbles and pushes his head away, climbing off of his lap.]

[Cu Chulainn laughs, but doesn't try to force her to stay. In all honesty, he had expected such a reaction.]

Well, they say good things come to those who wait. Waitin' won't be a bad thing. Just a borin' one. So now what? How ya gonna keep me distracted while we drive? Can't promise I'll be good long if I get too bored...

[And as if to prove his point, his hand inches its way across the seat to her leg.]

[He did have a good point. So he had to distract him in the best way possible.]

...Our honeymoon will be on the beach, what kind of swimsuit should I wear?

[That hand touches her, he won't have it after that.]

[Fortunately for Cu Chulainn, her question causes him to pull his hand back so he can prop his elbow on his knee and his chin in his hand.]

Don't suppose there's a chance it'll be a nude beach, hu?

[He shrugs, not bothering to wait for an answer.]

One or two piece. It don't matter. Just pick what ya think makes ya look good. Your honeymoon, your choice. You're making your own decisions now, remember? I don't really know ya well enough to blind guess what would look good on ya. 'Sides, it won't matter much if ya don't feel comfortable in it. Confidence is the important thing.

[She has too much class for that, sorry.]

And I'm only asking you to keep your attention on something besides getting in my pants! So think about it for the rest of the ride there.

Too bad. Ya certainly have the body for it, but some don't really go for all that. It's okay.

[Cu Chulainn relaxes back in the seat, crossing his arms behind his head.]

Look, you're trying too hard to distract me. I ain't really that focused on getting in your pants.

[He turns his head toward her, a sudden serious look on his face.]

I gotta few questions I'd like ta ask. That okay?

...Well that hand seemed to say differently.

[But fine, she wasn't going to argue it anymore. She looked right back at him.]

[Cu Chulainn looks at the offending hand and then flicks it like it's a bad puppy.]

Gotta mind of its own sometimes...

[He then shrugs.]

So, somethin' I gotta know. After we're married and all, do I gotta listen to your parents? I mean, just how much of us they gonna try and control? I'm signin' up to listen to you, not them. They an' I ain't gonna get 'long well if they try an' tell me things ta make ya do, for instance.

You're asking two different questions there.

[She chuckled.]

Do you have to listen to them? Yes. Do you have to do what they tell you to? No.

[Crossing her legs.]

They will tell you to make me quit my job, become a housewife, and things like that. And no matter what you tell them, they will always ask. However, if you respect me, you will not do what they tell you to.

[She looks at him.]

Think about it like this. You wouldn't tell me if a hot woman flirted with you. Put them on that level.

[For a moment, Cu Chulainn is distracted by those legs, but then he nods in understanding.]

Good. 'Cause I really had no plans of makin' ya do any of that shit. I can smile an' nod with the best of 'em, though.

So, that leads to the next question... They're gonna annoy the shit out of me askin' over an' over for shit I ain't gonna do. Do I get to annoy 'em back? Tell a few...exaggerated tales just ta piss 'em off?

[She hummed for a moment on that.]

As long as it doesn't embarrass me, it's fine.

Aww...a little embarrassment don't hurt anyone. If ya really don't want me ta do that, ya better let me know what ya consider embarrassin'.

Most people prefer ta call me a smart ass 'stead of smart, but I think I can handle 'em. Just don't wanna do anything to upset you or put ya in a bad spot since we're gonna be a team now.
