After being purified and returned to the Throne of Heroes, the Throne shatters because of the spreading corruption sending him and all the heroes recorded on it, out into the world.		Lancer (Cu Chulainn) Homeless ➜ thebeastwithin AU Information: As a result of the class blending caused by the Throne shattering, Cu Chulainn has developed a split personality known as "The Beast" who is the personification of his Berserker Class traits. Because The Beast can take him over almost at will, Cu Chulainn has basically placed himself under house arrest and is dependent on Diarmuid to take care of him and make sure he doesn't hurt anyone when The Beast takes over.

In fact, Gilgamesh is actually rather pleased with how well his servant behaves now which is why, when Kotomine ignores several warnings about not messing with the King's possessions, he eventually parts ways with the priest--who he claims has become boring--on the eve of the 5th War and grants his servant's request to save the woman Kotomine had been planning to kill.
