[Diarmuid slides his hand out of Waver's so that he can drop his arm to join the other around the magus' waist. He then pulls Waver closer.]

I have been told there is more than one way to dance. We should try something new, don't you think?

Wh-- [Waver faltered and nearly tripped, half falling against Diarmuid's shoulder at that.]

Wh-what did you have in mind?

[The nice thing about being a fighter who is a specialist is that being opportunistic kind of goes with the territory, which is way Diarmuid doesn't waste the chance Waver's stumble provides to draw the man even closer to him.]

Dancing. Dancing is what I have in mind.

[Diarmuid sways back and forth gently pulling Waver with him.]

Surely, you have heard of other kinds of dancing besides the ballroom variety.

[Frowning slightly out of embarrassment, Waver just put his arms around Diarmuid's shoulders.]

I really shouldn't be complaining, should I?

[Diarmuid rests his forehead against Waver's, closing his eyes.]

Don't worry. I have been assured this one is very easy. Anyone can do it.

Fine, but don't go complaining when I fall over and take you down with me in the process.

[Diarmuid turns them slightly, continuing to sway.]

We are dancing it now, are we not? And you have not knocked me down.

I have plenty of faith in you, but I also have a realistic idea of our respective fortunes. Don't think I've forgotten your ranking in luck.

[Beat.]

[Diarmuid laughs softly.]

I would like to politely request an upgrade someday, though. Or would I have to give up being an Irish Hero to get that?
