[Aengus bows gracefully to Zett, several butterflies circling happy around him.]
I expect in this place even the luckiest of people will need all the well wishes they can get and he is not the luckiest of people, unfortunately.

[Zebul might have once been a god, but Zett's not as arrogant as he is.]

[Aengus gives Zett a confused look.]
Does being given such respect bother you?

[Aengus waves a finger at Zett.]
All are deserving of respect. Especially those who are as skilled as you have just said you are!

Why is respect such an odd thing for people now? I do not understand. Nor does my son. What has changed?

[Aengus shakes his head.]
My son has told me how it seems like our world has lost much of its magic. That the people on longer see the beauty in the world around them. They only seek power and wealth in things that do not grant either. If that is not being lost...I know not what is.

[Oh dear. This 'trying' thing might sound familiar and now Zett knows where Diarmuid gets it from.]
All things come to those who try hard enough and never give up. All lost can be found again. It does not matter if one is an outsider. Sometimes, it is an outside perspective that can give you knowledge when all else has failed.

[Such as the apocalypse. That he can help with.]

What is the most important thing to one is often nothing to another and vice versa. Who am I to deny help to one person's important thing just because another does not deem it so? No, it is better just to help wherever I am allowed.
[Within reason, of course. Aengus is a man of honor. His son would not value it so much otherwise.]

[He can definitely see the resemblance.]

[A fond look crosses Aengus' face.]
My son is like that as you well know, but not everyone is.

[There is pride in Aengus' voice.]

I do not understand...

[Aengus is still struggling to follow Zett's train of thought.]
How am I to teach him something I do not know?

If I'm a dancer, and I think dancers are great, and I want my son to be a dancer, what happens if my son wants to be something else? Parents too often have a mold they try to get their children to fit in.

[Aengus laughs softly.]
I would never do something like that to my son. He has always wished to be what he is. I have merely helped him be the best at it he can.

[He motions out around them.]
In fact, if you do not mind, I think I will find my son now and make sure he is not doing something that will make me worry. As you say, he does find trouble quiet easily, and I would not be a very good father were I not there to get him out of it.
