[To be honest, he does have a moment of dread as his thoughts drift back to how Cu Chulainn had treated him in front of others, but he brushes it away. He trusts her not to do that to him.]

[There is a promise in his eyes as he speaks. If she were close enough, he would probably be following those words up with a kiss, but as he can't at the moment, he follows them up with several words in Ancient Gaelic instead. They mean basically the same thing, just in a more flowery manner.
