[He shrieks, giggle, and flails as he comes down. Never once does he doubt that Diarmuid would be able to catch him.]

[His faith is well placed as Diarmuid would die himself before letting Setanta be hurt. He easily catches him and gives him a wide grin one he does.]

How was that?

That was so fun! Is that what it feels like to fly?

I would say a little, yes. Especially that moment when you stop going up and it seems just for a second like you are floating before you begin to fall again.

[His eyes are distant for a moment, almost as if he's seeing something that happened long ago.]

If you think you can handle it without getting dizzy, I could throw you more than once.

I won't get dizzy. Will you get tired, though?

As long as you are having fun, I won't get tired.

[And this is actually no boast, but fact. Much like the boy's pure emotions had helped to heal him when he first fell, his pure emotions now will keep him from growing tired.]

[He takes a big breath and prepares to be thrown into the air again.]

Okay. Here we go! If you need me to stop, just yell out.

[Diarmuid sets himself and then tosses the boy into the air. He catches Setanta a few moments later and then tosses him up again.]

[He gets tossed several more times before he finally calls out to Diarmuid to stop.]

Stop! Stop!

[When the boy yells for him to stop, Diarmuid catches him and grins.]

Still having fun? Does it still seem like flying?

Yes, it seems very much like flying! I just wish I could stay up there longer!

[A beat.]

Now it's your turn to have fun. Come on, I'll go push you on the swings.

Someday I will take you up for some real flying, I promise.

[One of Diarmuid's hands lightly touches the one wing that refuses to heal with any speed. The other was so much better. He can't understand why this one isn't the same.

After a moment, he pushes those thoughts away and smiles at Setanta.]

Lead the way to the swings then! I can't wait to try them out.
